Good luck with that...
I met and talked to Stephen Guyer recently.

In February: I got interested in this company and started investing. The Investor relations number was not functioning. So I went to the Corporate Office but neither Rice nor Guyer were around. I asked a lady who was there if she knew them and she said yes and that Mr Rice had an office there but would not be in for the week. I asked how I could contact them and she told me they don’t answer the company phone numbers and she gave me their home phone numbers. I called the number for Rice and got a no longer in service recording. I called the number for Guyer and left a message but he never returned the call.

On March 7th I visited the office of Guyer Management Assistance, Inc (GMA). This is also the address listed for Stephen Guyer on the SEC filings for CGFI. It is also his home.

The place looked unoccupied. There were no vehicles around and all the blinds were closed. I rang the door bell and got excited when I saw someone coming to the door. He was home and appeared to be eating lunch (12:15 pm or so). I introduced myself as a supporter of Colorado Gold Fields who had invested quite a bit of money and was planning to invest more. He had very negative reaction. There was not much of a conversation and he didn't open the door. He talked to me through the screen door.

I asked when we could expect to see a filing of the 10-Q. His only reaction was, "Has it ever been late before?" He asked me if I knew the deadline, which was April 15. So, I responded, then you are telling me to expect it on or before the deadline. He repeated his question, "Has it ever been late before?"

He said repeatedly that this (visit) is highly inappropriate. I told him I didn’t expect him to disclose insider information, that I was just wondering if we could expect some investor communications. He asked me if I have kids and started to say something in a whiney voice “How would you feel if ...” .

I'm now thinking WTF. I have three daughters and I told him that if people investing in their business visited them at their business office, I would not label that as inappropriate, especially when other lines of communications with investers seemed to be unavailable. He started to say what he "could do..." He stopped short and I told him I was surprised and discomforted by his hostile attitude. I asked him if he was threatening me. He didn't respond. I reminded him that I was on the same team and had no bad intentions, I showed him my ID. He repeated how inappropriate it was for me to be there. I offered to help update the web page at no charge, which I remarked is in dire need of an update. I asked if there was anything else he wanted to tell me. There was not, so I thanked him for his time and left. It’s hard to describe his disposition at the time but just let me say, I'm surprised he didn't mess his britches while I was standing on his porch. I realize there are a lot of pissed off CGFI investors, so I can see how a visit by an investor could be unnerving. Just the same it didn't do much for my confidence to be greeted in such a manner by him.

Guyer has the personality of burnt toast. I can't imagine him attracting business partners with the kind of money needed to get this venture off the ground.
